Supercars is set to return to New Zealand from April 19 to 21, 2024 at Taupō International Motorsport Park and it looks like it’s going to be a sell-out event, with fans being encouraged to secure their passes now.
General admission tickets for both Saturday and Sunday have already sold out, but there are a limited number of passes available for ‘Grandstand’ seats and ‘Corporate Experiences’ on all three days.
All types of passes are still available for Friday, starting at $30 per person, while children 12 years old and under can enter for free with a paying adult.
However, if you can’t make it to either of the competition days, the Gen3 Ford Mustangs and Chevrolet Camaros, as well as their respective drivers will take to the streets of Taupō on Thursday 18 April for a new spectacle known as the ‘Track to Town’ journey.
Practice will get underway for the Supercars class on Friday 19 April, alongside various other support classes, while the first race of the weekend gets underway on Saturday 20 April following qualifying and the Top 10 Shootout. The second run of qualifying sessions will take place on Sunday 21 April, followed by the race that afternoon.
In addition to the main Supercars event, there will also be various support categories racing over the weekend, including Porsche Carrera Cup Australia, NZ Central Muscle Cars, Toyota Gazoo Racing 86 Series NZ, and Formula Ford NZ.
