If the Toyota GR Corolla wasn’t already sporty enough, it’s set to get even wilder with a new MORIZO Edition.

The MORIZO Edition features exclusive specs including a closer ratio manual transmission, shorter diff ratio for increased acceleration, forged wheels, stiffened chassis, front brake ducts, mono-tube shock absorbers, and suede trimmed seating and cabin features.
While power stays the same for the 1.6-litre three-cylinder turbo at 224kW, torque climbs to 400Nm, 30Nm more than the standard GR Corolla providing better acceleration higher in the rev-range.

The GR-Four all-wheel-drive system with selectable 30-70, 50-50, and 60-40 front-to-rear wheel power settings with limited slip differentials comes as standard on the new edition.
To aid with grip, wider Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres are included.

One of the most significant changes is the loss of a back seat for the sake of weight saving. Along with additional mass reduction around the car, the new edition sheds 48kg off the standard GR Corolla.

Only 200 units will be produced during the 2023 model year.
