The local arm of Volvo has announced that the first examples of its smallest SUV ever, the EX30, have begun to arrive on our shores and will be available for test drives at all nationwide dealerships in the next fortnight.
Customer deliveries are expected in early April, making New Zealand the second country in the Asia Pacific region to receive the new model.
For those wanting to get their hands on the EX30, orders are now being taken for June/July arrivals as the first two shipments have already sold out.
The bite-size SUV is offered locally in three variants, with two different powertrains, starting with the $74,990 Plus Single Motor Extended Range which features a 69kWh battery, followed by the mid-range Ultra Single Motor Extended Range for $78,990.
Sitting at the top of the pile is the EX30 Ultra Twin Motor Performance that makes 315kW and also comes equipped with a 69kWh battery, good for 476km of range. The top-spec variant is priced at $84,990.
“The Volvo EX30 will arrive in New Zealand from April 2024 and it really is an expresso version of everything Volvo,” says Ben Montgomery, General Manager of Volvo Car New Zealand.
All EX30s sold in New Zealand come with a three-year unlimited kilometre warranty, a three-year roadside assistance package, an eight-year battery warranty, and three-years free servicing.
