After spy images emerged of the 2023 Ford Everest testing in Thailand earlier this week, Ford has decided to get on the front foot and release images of the camouflaged three-row SUV themselves.
The new images authenticate the earlier spy shots, showing identical styling throughout, with Ford’s Americanised corporate face from the Ranger proudly grafted to the Everest’s front end.
Ford has at least given us something new to ogle and analyse, and that’s a photo of the formerly elusive rear end. It features an all-new pair of tail lights with a distinctive LED light signature, as well as a new bumper and a large rear windscreen.
The only element we’re yet to see in some capacity now is the 2023 Everest’s cabin, although it’s tipped that it will mostly be a carryover of what we’ve seen inside the Ranger; tablet-orientated touch screen and all.
2022 is shaping up to be a biggie for Ford in terms of reveals. Along with the reveal of the Ranger Raptor, the Everest is set to debut in the first quarter.
As previously reported, the new Everest is rumoured to be getting the same powertrains as the Ranger, including the flagship 3.0-litre V6 — a Power Stroke unit borrowed from the F-150.
